Edward Allyn [Edmond, John³, John², Richard¹] was born About 1584 in Little Leighs, Essex, England. He was the son of Edmond Allyn and Martha Glascock. He held the office of Sheriff of Essex from 1629 until 1630. On 24 June 1629 he became the 1^st Baronet Aleyn of Hatfield, County, Essex. Thereafter he was called Sir Edward Allyn. He was buried the 26^th October 1538 in London, Middlesex, England. He married Elizabeth Scott. Elizabeth was born at Little Leighs, Essex.
